If there is only 1 book that you should read over and over again? What should it be?
To me, it is How Will You Measure Your Life. I read it once per year.
The authors taught us what are important in the life, especially using the example of “outsource to another company” to explain the importance of attending to family matter by ourselves.
There are 3 elements throughout our life that keep appearing; Resources, Process and Values.
Resources is what we have on hand and also in our brain. And how we can use them to solve the problem or handle any situation in our life is the Process. Finally, what’s the priority that we focus on problem or situation depends on our own Values.
You will learn all these in the book. Back to the example of “outsource to another company”. As parent, we should look after the kids ourselves, we must never outsource such important capabilities to babysitter, tutor and iPad full time.
If we don’t have the knowledge, we can learn. Buy some books and do some googling. More importantly, enjoy the process!
